About Angel Detection Solutions

Angel Detection Solutions began with a conversation about fear, safety, and the silent risks people face when they go out for a drink. We’re a student-founded team based in Asheville, North Carolina, brought together by one shared belief: feeling safe shouldn’t require extra effort; it should be part of the experience.

We realized that while awareness of drink spiking has grown, real solutions haven’t kept up. Most tools on the market are expensive, awkward to use, or hard to access. In the meantime, thousands of people — especially women and students — continue to experience drug-facilitated assault, often without realizing it until it’s too late.

We couldn’t ignore that. So we built something that didn’t ask people to change how they socialize — it simply added protection to what they already do.

Our Purpose

At Angel Detection Solutions, our purpose is simple: to make safety effortless, accessible, and a natural part of everyday life. We believe no one should have to choose between enjoying a night out and protecting themselves from harm. That’s why we created Halo Lids — a solution that works quietly in the background, so you can be fully present in the moment.

We imagine a future where drink safety is standard, not optional — where people can gather, celebrate, and connect without fear or second-guessing. A future where awareness turns into action, and prevention replaces the need for recovery.

This is more than a product. It’s a growing movement — supported by students, communities, campuses, and organizations who believe that safer environments should be the norm, not the exception.

We’re just getting started. And we’re inviting you to be part of the change.
